Description
The "G" element portion of this assembly has been utilized in a number of different applications. The first picture is a standard (G-Packoff) arrangement the other configurations shown are most commonly used in conjunction with a bumper spring attached above. Typically used for a plunger lift style well configuration. This specialized configuration allows wireline to set and unset the bumper spring platform allowing the tool to be moved up or down the wellbore as production of fluid increases/decreases.
