Running Tools

Running tools, also known as setting tools, are typically used for well inspection and wireline operations. These tools help guide other tools and equipment down the wellbore to complete various tasks. From inspecting the downhole to placing locks for other equipment to repairing slicklines, there are many uses for these versatile pieces of equipment.

In addition to lowering equipment down the wellbore, many varieties of running tools can also be used to retrieve items from the well. The setting tools can also bring back up downhole equipment that is no longer needed, giving you plenty of flexibility in how you use them.
