Completion Equipment
Completion equipment helps finish off an oil or gas wellbore, getting it ready to move forward with production. Once the drilling process is complete, the well isn't ready for operation just yet. First, you'll need to ensure that the bottom of the well meets any necessary specifications, from local and national regulations to your specific requirements. When the bottom of the hole is ready, you can move on to the rest of the well completion process.
Your team will need to run production tubing into the downhole, along with any additional tools needed. This may require you to perforate and stimulate as the line works its way down, depending on the depth of your wellbore. If you'll be cementing in the casing, you'll finish this task before production begins as well.
